Welcome to the website of Shake That Bartending. We are a small team of experienced cocktail bartenders based in Edinburgh who provide cocktail experiences for events and parties with our mobile cocktail bar, mobile cocktail making classes, and mixologist hire service.
The business was created after we had been to too many events where the drinks service had seemed like an afterthought. We knew we had the passion and expertise to change this and offer clients an affordable & high-end cocktail experience. Your cocktail class host or bar team for the evening will be made up of one of the business owners or our tight-knit team. We are not an agency who will send out anyone! If we can’t provide you with an outstanding team, we will not take the booking. No agency substitutes here!
YOUR MOBILE COCKTAIL BAR
The original concept of the business! To serve up amazing cocktails from our mobile bar at any location and charge less than your local cocktail bar. The first 100 cocktails are charged at £849.50 with additional cocktails charged at £7 each.

YOUR MOBILE COCKTAIL CLASS
We come to your party and show you the ropes in cocktail bartending. Our two hour cocktail masterclasses are perfect for Hen Parties, Team Building Events or any group of friends looking to have some fun and learn some new skills. Classes are £35 per person.

the mixologist hire package
To put it simply, one of our great cocktail bartenders will come to your event or party and shake up some tasty cocktails. This package costs £35 per person and is suitable for up to around 30 guests and includes everything required to host an amazing cocktail party of your own.

BESPOKE PROJECTS
We love to team up with other companies to work on bespoke projects. Whether working on promotional activities, brand activations, creating bespoke drinks lists or installing branded mobile bar units.

What areas do you cover with your mobile cocktail bar and mobile cocktail classes?
We are based in Edinburgh but we travel throughout Scotland. For events outside Edinburgh there may be small travel charges applied which covers fuel and bartenders time travelling. Toot Toot!

What type of events do you provide your cocktail event services for?
Any type of party that wants to enjoy amazing cocktails! Hen parties, team building, networking events, staff parties, weddings, birthday parties; we do it all.

Do you have minimum numbers to book a mobile cocktail making classes?
We don't have minimum numbers but we have do have a minimum charge for 12 people.

Do you have a minimum order of cocktails with your mobile cocktail bar package?
The minimum order of 100 cocktails. This costs £849.50 and is an all inclusive price (the only thing you might pay on top is travel charge if your event is outside Edinburgh). Full details on mobile bar package

Can we choose the cocktails that are served on our mobile cocktail bar?
Absolutely. We have our online mobile cocktail bar list where you can choose up-to four cocktails to be served up. Please let us know if you have any specific requests which we will try to cater for.

Can we choose the cocktails for our cocktail making class?
We have a set four cocktails for our cocktail making classes (all of which have non alcoholic versions available). For returning customers we will happily change the list.

When do you arrive to set up for a cocktail making class?
Typically we will arrive 45-60 minutes prior to your chosen start time to set up and prepare the class.

What time do you arrive to set up your mobile cocktail bar?
Typically we will be onsite 1 and 1/2 hours prior to your chosen start time to set up the mobile bar and prepare the cocktails.

How do we book in?
Firstly it is best checking our availability first as we can get booked out for certain busy periods. If we are available you can book on our website using our online booking form which requires a £50 deposit payment to secure the date (if a corporate booking we will send you an invoice to confirm).​​
